Although we commonly depict it as yellow, the Sun is actually white.
This phenomenon is explained by the fact that our star emits light in all the colors of the visible spectrum almost uniformly,
when all these wavelengths combine, the result perceived by the human eye is pure white.
The definitive proof is observed from space: astronauts and satellite images confirm that,
without the interference of our atmosphere, the Sun has no yellowish tint. The terrestrial confusion occurs due to Rayleigh scattering,
where the atmosphere deflects the shorter wavelengths (blues and violets), allowing warmer tones to pass through more easily, which tints the Sun yellow or orange to our eyes.
